In Tuesday's league outing, the Burges Mustangs (El Paso, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Jefferson Silver Foxes (El Paso, TX), by a count of 38-19.

The Mustangs (12-16) will now prepare for their outing against Canutillo (Canutillo, TX). The Eagles go into the 5A Region I District 1 outing with a 16-14 record. In their last outing, Canutillo was topped by El Paso (El Paso, TX), 46-45, in a league outing.

The Silver Foxes now hold a 0-27 record. They play next when they travel to Chapin for a 5A Region I District 1 outing on Friday, February 10. Jefferson will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 63-43 league win over Andress (El Paso, TX). The Huskies record now stands at 24-6.
