In Tuesday's league outing, the Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) basketball squad felled the visiting Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX), by a margin of 42-30.

The Porcupines (10-19) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX). The Bullfrogs go into the 4A Region I District 8 outing with a 20-13 record. In their last outing, Lake Worth thwarted Decatur (Decatur, TX), 66-56, in a league outing.

The Lions now own a 14-15 record. They play next when they travel to Krum for a 4A Region I District 8 outing on Friday, February 10. Castleberry will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 78-47 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 18-10.
