Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting North Rangers (Eastlake, OH), 70-59 in a league bout.

With the victory, Chardon upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Riverside (Painesville, OH) to play the Beavers in a Western Reserve bout on Friday, February 10. The Beavers come into the bout with a record of 15-3. Riverside won 80-65 in their recent league bout against South (Willoughby, OH)

Next up, the Rangers play the Kenston Bombers (Chagrin Falls, OH) in a Western Reserve bout, on Friday, February 10. North will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Bombers come into the bout with a 1-18 record after their 93-67 league loss to Mayfield (Mayfield, OH).
