The North Hopkins Panthers (Sulphur Springs, TX) basketball felled the visiting Como-Pickton Eagles (Como, TX), 46-34 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (24-6) will now prepare for their test against Cumby (Cumby, TX). The Trojans go into the 2A Region II District 15 test with a 10-12 record. In their last test, Cumby thwarted Fruitvale (Fruitvale, TX), 51-29, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 12-18 record. They play next when they travel to Alba-Golden for a 2A Region II District 15 test on Friday, February 10. Como-Pickton will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 66-40 league loss to Cooper (Cooper, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 12-14.
