Texas High School Basketball - Memorial knocked off by Cy-Fair

The Cy-Fair Bobcats basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Memorial Mustangs to 34 in the Bobcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bobcats now sport a 15-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stratford for a 6A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, February 10. Cy-Fair will battle a Spartans team coming off a 57-35 league win over Jersey Village (Houston, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 20-10.

The Mustangs (17-15) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Creek (Houston, TX). The Cougars enter the 6A Region III District 17 contest with a 26-6 record. In their last contest, Cypress Creek ran past Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX), 76-35, in a league contest.
