New York High School Basketball - Depew knocked off by East Aurora

The East Aurora Blue Devils basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Depew Wildcats to 40 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Shore for a Section 6 Erie County III contest on Thursday, February 9. East Aurora will battle a Eagles team coming off a 88-69 league loss to Lackawanna (Lackawanna, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 5-12.

The Wildcats (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Maryvale (Cheektowaga, NY). The Flyers enter the Section 6 Erie County III contest with a 1-15 record. In their last contest, Maryvale was defeated by Cheektowaga (Cheektowaga, NY), 80-62, in a league contest.
