North Carolina High School Basketball - Research Triangle ripped by East Wake Academy

February 7, 2023: Research Triangle Park, NC 27709

The East Wake Academy Eagles basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Research Triangle Raptors to 23 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Falls Lake for a 1A/2A Conference 12 contest on Friday, February 10. East Wake Academy will battle a Firebirds team coming off a 50-49 league win over Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Firebirds record now stands at 11-13.

The Raptors (4-19) will now prepare for their contest against NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC). The Unicorns enter the 1A/2A Conference 12 contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, NCSSM: Durham triumphed over Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC), 67-41, in a league contest.
