In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Girard Yellowjackets (Girard, PA) basketball squad beat the host Fairview Tigers (Fairview, PA), by a count of 57-43.

The Yellowjackets (17-2) will now prepare for their outing against Northwestern (Albion, PA). The Wildcats go into the District 10 Region 3 outing with a 1-15 record. In their last outing, Northwestern was topped by Seneca (Erie, PA), 64-37, in a league outing.

The Tigers now hold a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to North East for a non-league outing on Friday, February 10. Fairview will clash with a Grape Pickers squad coming off a 60-35 non-league win over Iroquois (Erie, PA). The Grape Pickers record now stands at 11-7.
