The George Junior Republic basketball team (Grove City, PA), was routed 73-35 in Tuesday's league battle with the host West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA)

The Big Reds now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sharpsville for a District 10 Region 2 battle on Friday, February 10. West Middlesex will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 48-45 league loss to Reynolds (Greenville, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-11.

The (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Mercer (Mercer, PA). The Mustangs come into the District 10 Region 2 battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Mercer trounced Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA), 49-41, in a league battle.
