The Hallsville Bobcats basketball team (Hallsville, TX), was nudged 52-51 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Whitehouse Wildcats (Whitehouse, TX)
The Wildcats now possess a 15-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Tree for a 5A Region II District 15 battle on Friday, February 10. Whitehouse will battle a Pirates team coming off a 51-44 league win over Marshall (Marshall, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 11-16.
The Bobcats (19-12) will now prepare for their battle against Texas (Texarkana, TX). The Tigers come into the 5A Region II District 15 battle with a 4-15 record. In their last battle, Texas was nudged by Tyler (Tyler, TX), 71-59, in a league battle.
