Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Williamsville East Flames (East Amherst, NY) and the visiting Iroquois Chiefs (Elma, NY), witnessed Williamsville East's basketball squad topple Iroquois by a margin of 72-63.

The Flames (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Williamsville South (Williamsville, NY). The Billies go into the Section 6 Erie County II test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Williamsville South notched a victory over Starpoint (Lockport, NY), 65-55, in a league test.

The Chiefs now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Amherst Central for a Section 6 Erie County II outing on Friday, February 10. Iroquois will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 67-58 non-league loss to Canisius (Buffalo, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 15-3.
