Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Springfield Senators (Springfield, IL), 58-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Jacksonville upgrades its record to 7-20 on the season. The Crimsons host Rochester (Rochester, IL) to play the Rockets in a Central State Eight bout on Friday, February 10. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 15-14. Rochester lost 59-58 in their recent league bout against Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL)

Next up, the Senators play the Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) in a Central State Eight bout, on Friday, February 10. Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 9-20 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 13-14 record after their 53-30 league win over Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL).
