The Katahdin Cougars basketball team (Sherman Station, ME), was overwhelmed 85-64 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Southern Aroostook Warriors (Dyer Brook, ME)
The Warriors now possess a 17-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Grand for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 9. Southern Aroostook will battle a Vikings team coming off a 59-33 non-league loss to Van Buren (Van Buren, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 0-17.
The Cougars (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME). The Pioneers come into the D North battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Wisdom trounced Washburn (Washburn, ME), 78-45, in a league battle.
