The Monadnock Huskies basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Kearsarge Cougars to 43 in the Huskies league victory on Tuesday.
The Huskies now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hillsboro-Deering for a Division III contest on Wednesday, February 8. Monadnock will battle a Hillcats team coming off a 67-57 league loss to Newport (Newport, NH). The Hillcats record now stands at 0-10.
The Cougars (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Conant (Jaffrey, NH). The Orioles come into the Division III contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Conant was defeated by Concord Christian (Concord, NH), 56-40, in a non-league contest.
