In Tuesday's league outing, the Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) basketball squad edged the visiting St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD), by a count of 54-52.
The Panthers (14-9) will now prepare for their outing against Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC). The Quakers go into the Mid-Atlantic outing with a 18-4 record. In their last outing, Sidwell Friends held off Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD), 49-47, in a non-league outing.
The Lions now hold a 17-4 record. They play next when they travel to Flint Hill for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 9. St. Andrew's Episcopal will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 87-63 league win over Georgetown Day (Washington, DC). The Huskies record now stands at 10-12.
