In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Quitman Wolverines basketball team scored a good 61-52 triumph over the Weston Wolves.
In their next game, the Wolverines meet the Doyline Panthers (Doyline, LA) in a B District 1 match, on Thursday, February 9. Quitman will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 23-3 record after their 76-67 league win over Castor (Castor, LA).
With the defeat, Weston moves to 7-11 on the year.
