West Virginia High School Basketball - Ripley nipped by Winfield

February 7, 2023: Ripley, WV 25271

The Winfield Generals tipped the host Ripley Vikings basketball team by a final score of 65-60 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Generals face the Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV) in a Cardinal game, on Saturday, February 11. Winfield will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 3-13 record after their 61-57 non-league loss to Nicholas County (Summersville, WV).

With the defeat, Ripley moves to 15-2 on the year. The Vikings host Scott (Madison, WV) to face the Skyhawks in a non-league game on Friday, February 10. The Skyhawks enter the game with a record of 12-7. Scott won 44-39 in their recent non-league game against Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV)
