In Tuesday's league outing, the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) basketball squad felled the host Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA), by a margin of 37-29.
The Gryphons (16-7) will now prepare for their outing against Spencer (Columbus, GA). The Greenwave go into the AA Region 2 outing with a 12-10 record. In their last outing, Spencer was beaten by Central (Macon, GA), 64-29, in a league outing.
The Patriots now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a AA Region 2 outing on Friday, February 10. Southwest will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 64-29 league win over Spencer (Columbus, GA). The Chargers record now stands at 23-1.
