North Carolina High School Basketball - Bertie overwhelmed by Perquimans

The Perquimans Pirates basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Bertie Falcons to 19 in the Pirates league victory on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside-Martin for a 1A Conference 2 contest on Friday, February 10. Perquimans will battle a Knights team coming off a 44-38 league win over Washington County (Plymouth, NC). The Knights record now stands at 3-15.

The Falcons (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Washington County (Plymouth, NC). The Panthers come into the 1A Conference 2 contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Washington County was routed by Riverside-Martin (Williamston, NC), 44-38, in a league contest.
