The The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans basketball team (Kensington, MD), was routed 83-27 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD)

The Mustangs now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Archbishop Carroll for a DCSAA battle on Friday, February 10. Bishop McNamara will battle a Lions team coming off a 56-12 non-league win over Woodson (Washington, DC). The Lions record now stands at 15-9.

The Tartans (3-15) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA). The Cardinals come into the VISAA Division I battle with a 14-12 record. In their last battle, Bishop Ireton was routed by Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD), 59-58, in a league battle.
