Nebraska High School Basketball - Bruning-Davenport/Shickley overwhelms Meridian

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles (Bruning, NE) and the host Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE), saw Bruning-Davenport/Shickley's basketball squad wallop Meridian by a tally of 49-27.

With the victory, Bruning-Davenport/Shickley improves its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to High Plains (Polk, NE) to play the Storm in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Storm come into the challenge with a record of 10-10. High Plains lost 46-29 in their recent non-league challenge against McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Friend Bulldogs (Friend, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 17-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-17 record after their 43-36 non-league win over Tri County (DeWitt, NE).
