Brunswick Academy Vikings (Lawrenceville, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Southampton Academy Raiders (Courtland, VA), 37-28 in a league bout.

With the victory, Brunswick Academy upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA) to play the Knights in a VISAA Division IV bout on Thursday, February 9. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 5-9. Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot lost 27-21 in their recent league bout against Grove Christian School (Richmond, VA)

Next up, the Raiders play the Kenston Forest Kavaliers (Blackstone, VA) in a Virginia Colonial bout, on Thursday, February 9. Southampton Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Kavaliers come into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 62-12 league win over Banner Christian (Chesterfield, VA).
