Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Glasgow Scotties (Glasgow, KY), 46-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Monroe County upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Falcons host Barren County (Glasgow, KY) to play the Trojans in a District 15 bout on Friday, February 10. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 19-5. Barren County won 64-23 in their recent non-league bout against Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY)

Next up, the Scotties play the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY) in a District 15 test, on Friday, February 10. Glasgow will attempt to advance on its 10-11 season record.
