The Riverdale Chieftains basketball team (Muscoda, WI), was routed 72-35 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI)
The Pointers now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cuba City for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities battle on Friday, February 10. Mineral Point will battle a Cubans team coming off a 82-42 league win over Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI). The Cubans record now stands at 19-2.
The Chieftains (7-15) will now prepare for their battle against Fennimore (Fennimore, WI). The Golden Eagles come into the Southwest Wisconsin Activities battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Fennimore trounced Boscobel (Boscobel, WI), 52-49, in a league battle.
