In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC), by a margin of 72-38.
The Bulldogs (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Golden Lions go into the non-league outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, Shelby smashed Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC), 39-36, in a non-league outing.
The Warriors now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Highland Tech for a outing on Friday, February 10. East Gaston will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 67-53 non-league win over Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Rams record now stands at 6-14.
