Ballou Knights (Washington, DC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host DC International Dragons (Washington, DC), 51-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Ballou upgrades its record to 13-11 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Banneker (Washington, DC) to play the Bulldogs in a DCSAA A bout on Friday, February 9. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 12-8. Banneker lost 69-65 in their recent league bout against Roosevelt (Washington, DC)
Next up, the Dragons play the Washington Leadership Academy (Washington, DC) in a PCSAA A bout, on Friday, February 9. DC International will attempt to upgrade on its 13-15 season record. The come into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 66-61 league loss to SEED DC (Washington, DC).
