Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA), 61-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Carroll County upgrades its record to 19-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Patrick County (Stuart, VA) to play the Cougars in a Three Rivers bout on Thursday, February 8. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-16. Patrick County won 69-40 in their recent non-league bout against James River (Buchanan, VA)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Roanoke Catholic Celtics (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Radford will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Celtics come into the bout with a 6-18 record after their 84-63 non-league loss to Northside (Roanoke, VA).
