The Highlands Highlanders basketball team (Highlands, NC), dropped 80-60 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC)
The Bulldogs now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherokee for a 1A Big Smoky battle on Friday, February 9.
The Highlanders (5-16) will now prepare for their battle against Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC). The Bobcats come into the 1A Little Smoky battle with a 4-16 record. In their last battle, Blue Ridge Early College dropped by Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC), 71-36, in a non-league battle.
