The Piedmont Highlanders basketball team scored 57 points and held the host San Leandro Pirates to 38 in the Highlanders league triumph on Wednesday.

The Highlanders now hold a 16-9 record. They play next when they host Castro Valley for a West Alameda County - Foothill bout on Friday, February 9. Piedmont will play a Trojans squad coming off a 63-51 league loss to Berkeley (Berkeley, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-15.
