Georgia High School Basketball - Crisp County knocks off Appling County

February 7, 2025: Baxley, GA 31513

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA) and the host Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA), observed Crisp County's basketball team overcome Appling County by a score of 76-61.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Appling County will attempt to improve on its 8-15 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-17 record after their 0-0 league McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA).
