The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Brentwood Christian Bears (Austin, TX) and the host Grace Community Cougars (Tyler, TX), observed Brentwood Christian's basketball team overwhelm Grace Community by a score of 70-43.

The Bears (25-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Dunne (Dallas, TX). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 9-17 record. In their last challenge, Bishop Dunne trounced Regents (Austin, TX), 77-52, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Brook Hill Guard (Bullard, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 2 challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Grace Community will attempt to improve on its 21-15 season record. The Guard come into the challenge with a 25-4 record after their 65-46 league win over Bishop Dunne (Dallas, TX).
