Texas High School Basketball - Independence held off by Centennial

In Friday's league test, the Centennial Titans (Frisco, TX) basketball squad got by the host Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), by a score of 39-38.

Next, the Titans encounter the Memorial Warriors (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 11 outing, on Tuesday, February 11. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 17-15 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 22-8 record after their 87-49 league win over Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX).

The Knights (16-16) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage (Frisco, TX). The Coyotes enter the 5A Region II District 11 outing with a 27-4 record. In their last outing, Heritage got by Emerson (McKinney, TX), 89-54, in a league outing.
