The Sandies come into the outing with a 29-5 record after their 55-36 league win over Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX).

The Plainsmen (14-19) will now prepare for their outing against Plainview (Plainview, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Region I District 3 outing with a 13-15 record. In their last outing, Plainview was defeated by Tascosa (Amarillo, TX), 65-46, in a league outing.
