The Morgan County Cougars basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host West Carter Comets to 58 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

With the loss, West Carter falls to 3-18 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Rowan County (Morehead, KY) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 10-12. Rowan County won 55-46 in their recent league game against Bath County (Owingsville, KY)
