North Carolina High School Basketball - Mount Pleasant routs North Stanly

In Friday's league contest, the host Mount Pleasant Tigers basketball team scored a big 74-51 triumph over the North Stanly Comets.
The Tigers (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals go into the 1A/2A Yadkin Valley contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Union Academy was trounced by South Stanly (Norwood, NC), 55-48, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Comets confront the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) in a 1A/2A Yadkin Valley contest, on Monday, February 10. North Stanly will attempt to better on its 17-4 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 3-14 record after their 55-37 league loss to Albemarle (Albemarle, NC).
