In Friday's league contest, the host Santa Fe Trail Chargers basketball team scored a big 53-28 triumph over the Prairie View Buffalos.
The Chargers (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS). The Trojans go into the Pioneer contest with a 9-6 record.
In their next game, the Buffalos battle the Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS) in a Pioneer contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Prairie View will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 5-11 record after their 54-44 non-league loss to Chanute (Chanute, KS).
