    The East Rutherford Cavaliers basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host R-S Central Hilltoppers to 49 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Friday.

    The Cavaliers now have a 10-13 record. They play next when they host Polk County for a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 game on Tuesday, February 11. East Rutherford will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 68-13 league win over Chase (Forest City, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 18-1.

    With the loss, R-S Central falls to 6-15 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Chase (Forest City, NC) to confront the Trojans in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 game on Friday, February 14. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 3-18.
