Kentucky High School Basketball - Meade County routs Hancock County

February 7, 2025: Brandenburg, KY 40108

In Friday's league contest, the host Meade County Green Waves basketball team scored a big 65-38 triumph over the Hancock County Hornets.

The Green Waves (17-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY). The Eagles/Banshees go into the non-league contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Bethlehem smashed West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY), 68-58, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Hancock County will attempt to better on its 11-11 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 9-12 record after their 50-47 non-league loss to Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY).
