The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY) and the visiting Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY), observed North Laurel's basketball team overwhelm Jackson County by a score of 50-23.

The Jaguars (20-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin County (Frankfort, KY). The Flyers come into the non-league challenge with a 21-3 record. In their last challenge, Franklin County trounced Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY), 72-34, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Generals encounter the Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Jackson County will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Commodores come into the challenge with a 15-8 record after their 69-29 league win over Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY).
