In Friday's league test, the Western Christian Pioneers (Salem, OR) basketball squad trounced the visiting Santiam Wolverines (Mill City, OR), by a score of 67-30.
Next, the Pioneers clash with the Salem Academy Crusaders (Salem, OR) in a 2A Tri-River test, on Tuesday, February 11. Western Christian will attempt to improve on its 19-3 season record. The Crusaders come into the test with a 21-2 record after their 60-19 league win over Chemawa Indian (Salem, OR).
The Wolverines (13-10) will now prepare for their test against Gervais (Gervais, OR). The Cougars come into the 2A Tri-River test with a 2-18 record.
