North Carolina High School Basketball - Alexander Central routs South Caldwell

In Friday's league contest, the host Alexander Central Cougars basketball team scored a big 64-33 triumph over the South Caldwell Spartans.
The Cougars (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers go into the contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Hibriten was trounced by Watauga (Boone, NC), 71-28, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. South Caldwell will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Huskies go into the contest with a 0-15 record after their 78-16 non-league loss to Freedom (Morganton, NC).
