In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks basketball team scored a tight 59-57 triumph over the Jefferson County Tigers.
In their next game, the Tiger Sharks meet the Franklin County Seahawks (Eastpoint, FL) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 10. Port St. Joe will attempt to move on its 10-11 season record. The Seahawks enter the match with a 17-7 record after their 67-39 non-league win over Aucilla Christian (Monticello, FL).
With the defeat, Jefferson County moves to 8-16 on the year.
