Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Piute Thunderbirds (Junction, UT) and the host Valley Buffalos (Orderville, UT), saw Piute's basketball squad overcome Valley by a tally of 56-43.

With the victory, Piute improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign.

Next up, the Buffalos play the Diamond Ranch Academy Diamondbacks (Hurricane, UT) in a 1A Region 20 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Valley will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Diamondbacks come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 82-56 league loss to Wayne (Bicknell, UT).
