In Wednesday's league outing, the Sci-Tech CyberCats (Springfield, MA) basketball squad edged the visiting Putnam Vo-Tech Beavers (Springfield, MA), by a count of 55-54.
The CyberCats (4-11) will now prepare for their outing against Central (Springfield, MA). The Golden Eagles go into the Valley outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, Central held off Putnam Vo-Tech (Springfield, MA), 68-60, in a league outing.
The Beavers now hold a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Northampton for a non-league outing on Friday, February 10. Putnam Vo-Tech will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 60-57 non-league win over Holyoke (Holyoke, MA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-5.
