The Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets basketball team (Spencerville, MD), was overwhelmed 93-38 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD)
The Wildebeests now possess a 18-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smith Jewish Day School for a Potomac Valley battle on Thursday, February 9. Sandy Spring Friends will battle a Lions team coming off a 48-23 league win over St. Anselm's Abbey (Washington, DC). The Lions record now stands at 5-2.
The Hornets (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC). The Eagles come into the Potomac Valley battle with a 12-13 record.
