The Smethport Hubbers basketball team (Smethport, PA), was nudged 34-32 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Austin Panthers (Austin, PA)

The Panthers now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coudersport for a North Tier battle on Tuesday, February 14.

The Hubbers (4-16) will now prepare for their battle against Port Allegany (Port Allegany, PA). The Gators come into the North Tier battle with a 17-3 record. In their last battle, Port Allegany edged Cameron County (Emporium, PA), 66-25, in a league battle.
