Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) and the visiting Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM), saw Santa Fe's basketball squad overcome Los Lunas by a tally of 51-34.
With the victory, Santa Fe improves its record to 9-14 on the campaign. The Demons travel to Manzano (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Monarchs in a 5A District 5 challenge on Saturday, February 11. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 9-12. Manzano won 52-17 in their recent league challenge against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) in a 5A District 5 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Los Lunas will attempt to improve on its 3-20 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 6-17 record after their 66-25 league loss to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM).
