In Thursday's non-league match, the host Appomattox County Raiders basketball team scored a decisive 66-35 triumph over the Randolph-Henry Statesmen.
In their next game, the Raiders meet the Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA) in a Dogwood match, on Tuesday, February 13. Appomattox County will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 7-13 record after their 48-42 league win over William Campbell (Naruna, VA).
With the defeat, Randolph-Henry moves to 6-12 on the year.
