Nebraska High School Basketball - Sioux County thwarts Guernsey-Sunrise

The Sioux County Warriors (Harrison, NE) basketball knocked off the visiting Guernsey-Sunrise Vikings (Guernsey, WY), 50-30 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Warriors (6-15) will now prepare for their test against Hyannis (Hyannis, NE). The Longhorns go into the non-league test with a 18-2 record. In their last test, Hyannis notched a victory over Garden County (Oshkosh, NE), 54-35, in a league test.

The Vikings now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Banner County for a non-league test on Friday, February 9. Guernsey-Sunrise will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 73-52 non-league loss to South Platte (Big Springs, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-16.
