Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Lutheran Warriors (Plymouth, MN), 87-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Spectrum upgrades its record to 18-2 on the season. The Sting travel to Providence Academy/Rivertree (Plymouth, MN) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The go into the bout with a record of 6-13. Providence Academy/Rivertree lost 70-51 in their recent non-league bout against St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Heritage Christian (Karlstad, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. West Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 13-10 season record. The go into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 78-36 non-league win over North Lakes Academy (Forest Lake, MN).
